Industry meets on spam Bill.

On 26 June 2003 a forum will be held to discuss the introduction of anti-spam laws. The forum will be addressed by Australian Communications Minister Richard Alston, the Australian Labor Party Senator Kate Lundy and the Democrats' Brian Greig. Internet industry players who will be represented at the meeting with Australian politicians include Peter Coroneos (Internet Industry Association CEO), and senior people from ecorp's ninemsn, Microsoft, OzEmail, Singtel Optus, Symantecc, Telstra and Yahoo. Coroneos hopes that with bilateral party support the legislation will be passed during 2003.
