Australia's Origin Energy has unveiled a $A74 million mop-up offer for its subsidiary, Oil Company of Australia (OCA). Origin, the country's second-biggest energy retailer, does not own 14.77 per cent of OCA. Earlier, Santos, the third-largest oil and gas producer, said it will sell 2.9 million shares of OCA and retain 11.8 million shares. Santos's stake has been valued at $A62 million. A Santos spokesman said the company will consider the Origin offer with regard to its remaining holding in OCA.
