Blaster worm exposes Microsoft flaws.

Microsoft has a long way to go in bettering its security reputation, says the company's chief security strategist. Scott Charney made the comments after the "MS Blaster" worm became the second-fastest spreading computer virus in Australia and the sixth-fastest in the world in August 2003. MS Blaster attacks weaknesses in Microsoft's Windows operating system. Charney said vendors such as Microsoft needed to make it easier for computer users to patch holes in software.
