Worm turns up again to hit PCs.

In early August 2003, experts have warned that the "MSBlaster" or "LoveSan" computer virus may mutate. It is believed that the virus, which attacks through a flaw in Microsoft Windows software and is not spread via e-mail, could have infected as many as half of the computers connected to the Internet. Microsoft has issued a patch for the fault. According to Symantec, Australia is on the list of countries hit by the virus, and the Australian Computer Emergency Response Team (AusCERT) claims the full impact may not be felt in Australia until late August. Jamie Gillespie, of AusCERT, has warned that a new variant of the virus, potentially allowing a hacker to take total control of a computer, may emerge.
