Site points businesses to online security.

Australasian Business Intelligence, August, 2003

The Internet Industry Association claims that up to one million businesses in Australia have inadequate Internet security protection. They are at risk from viruses, fraud, and hacking. The association's concern over the increasing costs from such activities has resulted in the development of a web site aimed at providing security for small and medium-size businesses. Termed the Security Portal, it was launched on 14 August 2003 by the Minister for Information Technology, Richard Alston. The portal is free to all Internet users; updates are provided and alerts are sent to subscribers.
