MPs sit on super fund golden egg.
Australasian Business Intelligence, August, 2003

Figures from Australia's Department of Finance indicate that MPs have $A504m in their superannuation scheme. The details of the super funding have been obscured by government practice. This revelation comes as the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia protests a move by Australia's Assistant Treasurer, Helen Coonan, to introduce some measure of super fund choice for members. John Ward, of Mercer Human Resource Consulting, has warned that members may risk their death and disability entitlements due to the changes.
