Foster's opens the taps for ALE.

The Australian Leisure & Entertainment Property Trust (ALE) will acquire 105 of the pubs currently owned by Foster's Group. ALE will be spun off from Foster's, along with Australian Leisure & Hospitality Group. ALE plans to undertake three separate capital raisings as part of its listing on the Australian sharemarket. About $A62m worth of stapled securities will be issued, while another $A150m will be raised by issuing loan notes. These offers will be open to retail investors, while institutional investors will be able to subscribe to $A330m worth of bonds secured by mortgages over properties owned by ALE.
