Impartiality questioned at BSkyB.

Investors in News Corporation-controlled British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB) fear they may have a problem. They are questioning the independence of four directors, chosen to select a new CEO amid concern that News Corporation's powerful executive chairman, Rupert Murdoch, will install his son James in the job. The investors suggest there are other potential CEOs with stronger credentials than the media tycoon's son. Meanwhile, News Corporation's CEO, Peter Chernin, has tipped a profit increase of between eight and 12 per cent in 2003-04, citing higher television advertising sales.
