Constellation hitches its rising star to value stocks.

Australian value manager Constellation Capital Management has performed strongly, despite a resurgence in growth stocks. Constellation achieved returns of 17.2 per cent for the 12 months to September 2003. Despite the manager's consistently strong performance, it still has only $A220m under management. Investment manager Richard Morris attributes Constellation's success to its focus on risk-control. Constellation recently introduced the "Home Global Method", which gives investors exposure to domestic and global markets.
