ASX joins RadianzNet club.

The Australian Stock Exchange has decided to use a global financial extranet for distributing content and transaction services. The network, RadianzNet, is already being used by 9000 banks, brokers, stock exchanges, financial institutions and information service providers around the world. Its operator, Radianz, is a joint venture between Reuters and Equant and was launched in mid-2000. The ASX also employs virtual private network services from Optus and is considering similar services from Telstra. The New York Stock Exchange, the Nasdaq and the London Futures Exchange have already signed up to the network.
