Steady progress on cybercrime project.

APEC countries are reviewing their laws on cybercrime. They have achieved a level of progress which varies from country to country. Steve Orlowski, chair of the APEC E-security Task Group, conducted a survey of Internet security provisions in 21 APEC member countries. APEC ministers have decided to develop a code of conduct, which would be based on the Australian Internet Industry Association's draft Cybercrime Code of Conduct.
