Angela Clark is the new MD of Macquarie Media. The 32-year-old is the former MD of JC Deceaux Australia. Her urbane style is a striking contrast to that of her boss, the blokey John Singleton. Clark is managing Singleton's "investment empire", which encompasses stakes in Indonesian TV, April Films, Virgin Radio Australia, Lonely Planet and Macquarie Media, plus rugby league interests. Her presence is central to Singleton's ambition of establishing a mainstream media empire. Clark says her role is to "bring focus" to Singleton's media goals.
