Kidman's great, now she has to sell.(Brief Article)

It is hard to see a new Nicole Kidman TV advertisement for Chanel's "No 5" perfume doing much for its sales in Australia. The Australian actress looks "great" and Chanel executives say the Baz Luhrmann production makes the commercial a "piece of art". They say the advertisement is aimed at building a strong consumer demand for the brand in the $A400 million Australian fragrances market. In the end, however, it is just another star-based advertisement, no better and no worse than those featuring Sarah Jessica Parker for L'Oreal or Halle Berry for Revlon.
