Sydney's top-rating radio station, 2GB, is facing a staff crisis. There has been a spate of resignations. Those who have left 2GB since the federal election in October 2004 are state political reporter Zoe Allebone, night news editor Catherine "Tiger" Woods and general news reporter Ebbeny Faranda. Before the election, Canberra-based political reporter Sarah Farrell had left the network. Southern Cross Broadcasting had recently unveiled plans to merge parts of 2UE with 2GB.
