Patrick Corporation CEO Chris Corrigan is aiming to gain 100 per cent control of Virgin Blue. A bidding battle has developed between Patrick and Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Group. Paul Little, the MD of Toll Holdings, says Corrigan believes Virgin Blue is an "undervalued" company. He says Corrigan would like to own 100 per cent. The Virgin Group has rejected Patrick's $A1.1 billion offer on grounds it is too low. Toll and Patrick jointly own the Pacific National rail group.
