Funding for research into diseases of aging.(Funding for aging research )(Brief Article)

Julie Bishop, Australia's Minister for Ageing, has announced the recipients of $A8 million in funding for research projects. One of 13 projects funded by the Government is a study of the use of aspirin for reducing heart attacks, strokes and dementia. The study will be conducted at Monash University. Bishop said the projects have the potential to reduce the financial and human cost of degenerative diseases.
