CBA prompts CFS review.(Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Colonial First State)(Brief Article)

The Commonwealth Bank of Australia is reviewing Colonial First State (CFS). There has been media speculation that bank management is unhappy with the performance of CFS's managed funds and that John Pearce may be ousted as MD of CFS. It is anticipated that the results of the review will be issued by the end of February 2005. In the December 2004 half-year, the fund manager's net profit after tax rose by 15 per cent.
