Domino's Pizza New Zealand (NZ) has announced it has reached an agreement to buy Pizza Haven. Don Meij, the CEO of Domino's Pizza NZ, says existing Pizza Haven franchisees would be given the option of retaining their existing brand or switching to Domino's. Bill Christou, the joint MD of Pizza Haven NZ, said he believed that the sale was in the best interest of its franchisees, given the competitive nature of the NZ pizza sector. The two companies will have a combined 51 outlets, putting it behind only Pizza Hut in terms of the number of stores.
