Peace reaps top dividend: Macquarie Airports delivers.(Brief Article)

Kerrie Mather, CEO of Australian infrastructure investment fund Macquarie Airports, has announced good news for stockholders. The recovery of air travel worldwide from the 2001 terror attacks in the US has triggered increased turnover for the airport assets in various countries owned by Macquarie. The fund, established by investment bank Macquarie Bank, will pay $A0.19 per unit to shareholders for the 2004-05 year. Monthly passenger numbers at Sydney Airport passed the one million mark for the first time in December 2004.
