Great European deals to lure more Aussies.(growth in Australain visitors to Austria, Germany, and Great Britain)(Brief Article)

Great Britain, Germany and Austria have reported a record number of Australian visitors in 2004. Some 788,000 Australians visited Great Britain in 2004, a nine per cent rise from 2003. VisitBritain marketing manager Mark Haynes attributed the increase to growing consumer confidence. Visitor growth in Germany was at about 22 per cent, according to the German National Tourist Office, while the Austrian National Tourist Office recorded a 30 per cent increase in Australian arrivals.
