Corrigan shakes up Virgin board.(Chris Corrigan; Virgin Blue Airlines.)(Brief Article)

Patrick Corporation CEO, Chris Corrigan, has initiated a boardroom reorganization at Australian airline, Virgin Blue. Corrigan has installed himself on the Virgin board, after ejecting interim chairman, David Ryan. Corrigan has also welcomed the decision by Virgin Blue CEO, Brett Godfrey, to remain in that position. Patrick has secured a 62.4 per cent state in the airline. Patrick's offer closed on 1 April 2005. Shares in Virgin Blue rose $A0.13 to $A2.03 on 4 April.
