Shares in employment advertising web site Seek listed on the Australian Stock Exchange at $A2.15 on 19 April 2005. This represented a $A0.05 premium to the $A2.10 issue price. The stock traded as high as $A2.34 before closing at $A2.30. CMC chief dealer, Brian Griffin, commented that Publishing & Broadcasting Limited's 25 holding in Seek ensured strong demand for the stock. Seek has indicated the funds raised in the float will go towards new acquisitions and growth opportunities, and repurchasing stock from existing shareholders.
