Camels aside, Qantas confident with boost in cargo security.(Qantas Airways Ltd.)(Brief Article)

There was consternation when a Qantas baggage handler was seen wearing a camel costume that had been removed from a passenger's luggage. As a result of the incident, Qantas has revealed it plans to install security cameras in over 900 baggage handling areas across Australia. It also plans to install cameras in the holds of some of its aircraft, while baggage handlers can expected to be subjected to extra inspections when arriving and leaving work. However, despite the recent camel episode, Qantas has indicated it is happy with its security procedures so far as air freight is concerned.
