Grill gains in latest gold float.(Kalgoorlie-Boulder Resources Ptv. Ltd)(Brief Article)

Shares in Kalgoorlie-Boulder Resources closed at a small premium to the issue price after the first day of trading on the Australian sharemarket. Stock in the Western Australian (WA) gold explorer ended the session at $A0.22 on 20 April 2005, after being issued at $A0.20. Former WA Minister, Julian Grill, helped to establish and promote the company, and his 3.2 stake is valued at $A247,500 based on the closing price. The majority of the shares were issued to Grill at no cost. Grill recently announced he will become chairman of Regal Resources, which is raising $A3m in a float.
