The Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) on 25 May 2005 outlined its future direction. The self- listed ASX aims to end its ASX Perpetual Registrars joint venture, although analysts warn of a lack of potential buyers. ASX also plans to sell Orient Capital and its 14.1 interest in IRESS. It will close its non- performing World Link online foreign market access system.
