Profit boost for Campbell Brothers.

Campbell Brothers achieved a 40 per cent rise in net profit to $A25.28 million in the 12 months to March 2005. Revenue from its consumer division, which accounts for 27.4 per cent of its business, was up three per cent to $A124 million. During the year, Campbell sold some of its laundry brands to Colgate-Palmolive and invested in pest control and washroom hygiene service businesses as part of its strategic move away from manufacturing to service and distribution.
