Australian telco, Telstra, will be rolling out its new internet protocol TV services in the coming year and a half. According to its secret sales pitch to free-to-air TV networks, Telstra will spend a year trialling the "TV Plus" service. It will commercially deploy it in the ensuing six months, offering 2,500-plus hours of content to "high potential" customers. Telstra has not alerted its co-shareholders in pay TV network, Foxtel, to its recent talks with several free-to-air TV stations about possible alliances.
