BHP tops Asia-Pacific admiration quest.

A survey conducted by Hay Group for "Fortune" magazine indicates BHP Billiton is the most "admired" company in the Asia Pacific region.Aside from ranking first in the survey's mining category, BHP also scored exceedingly well in the quality of management, innovation, social responsibility, long-term investment value and financial security criteria. BHP was ranked higher than South Korean electronics group, Samsung, and above Singapore Airlines. The survey's global winner was US company, General Electric. Dell Computers, Microsoft and Toyota Motor Corporation also ranked highly.
