Tax changes add up to good business for MYOB.

Business software suppliers, such as MYOB, will benefit from the tax changes announced in the May 2005 Australian Budget. The Australian Taxation Office has committed to publishing two sets of tax scales. This will make it more attractive for small and medium- sized enterprises to purchase updates. MYOB has more than 350,000 customers and dominates the accounting software market. The company is expecting revenue of more than $A165 million this calendar year. The stock is trading at $A1.06 after falling to a year-low of $A0.98 in early May.
