Jetstar Airlines has established a presence in Australia as a profitable discount airline and will commence the next phase of its development. On 28 May 2005, Jetstar will launch its new marketing campaign, to promote the hot meals that will be available on its flights from July. The multimillion-dollar campaign will continue to promote Jetstar's low airfares but will also inform consumers that Qantas frequent flyer points and onboard entertainment are available with Jetstar. In the year since its launch, Jetstar has secured a 10 per cent share of the aviation industry in Australia. The discount airline is preparing to launch some international flights.
