Pacific Hydro in world-first carbon trading deal.

Pacific Hydro (PacHydro) has negotiated a carbon credit sale with a bank. In a world- first transaction, a PacHydro subsidiary will sell the certified emissions reduction credits from two hydro-electric projects in Fiji, the Wainikasou and the Vaturu power project, to ABN Amro. Once it has purchased the carbon credits from the PacHydro subsidiary, ABN Amro will sell them to Accord Energy. PacHydro shares closed $A0.01 lower on 6 June 2005, at $A5.05.
