Terminator terminal: Arnie backs BHP plan.

A proposed BHP Billiton LNG terminal in the US could result in $A15bn in LNG exports for Australia. In June 2005 California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger praised the safety aspects of the Australian company's proposed floating platform. Potential terrorist threats and fires make the other three options less attractive as they are closer to land. The US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission will make the final decision.
