Viliame Gavoka has welcomed the announcement by Air Pacific that it is planning to launch flights within Fiji by the end of 2005. Gavoka, the CEO of the Fiji Visitors Bureau, says that having another domestic carrier in Fiji will help to spread the benefits of tourism throughout the country. John Campbell, the CEO of Air Pacific, which is the national airline of Fiji, says that its main motivation for launching a domestic service is to assist those hotels and resorts that are struggling to attract tourists because of a lack of adequate transport services.
