Iluka denies talks.
Australasian Business Intelligence, June, 2005

Australian-listed Iluka Resources has refuted suggestions that it has held discussions with the Kolsen consortium. Kolsen's recent announcement that it has acquired a 7.25 per cent stake in Iluka has prompted speculation of a takeover bid. However, Iluka's Cameron Wilson says the mineral sands group has not had talks with Kolsen or been approached by the consortium, or any individual or entity associated with it. Kolsen's members include Buka Minerals, the Kerry Packer-controlled Consolidated Press and John Singleton.
