Private equity commitments stabilise.

A team of researchers from the University of New South Wales has conducted a survey of 40 Australian superannuation funds. The data show that the funds intend to continue to invest between four and 4.5 per cent of their funds in private equity over the next two to five years. John Evans, from the School of Banking & Finance at the Faculty of Commerce & Economics, said the funds expect an absolute return of 16.5 per cent a year.
