House approves tax treaty with Israel.

Jul 28, 2005 (Tax Notes International - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Brazil's House of Representatives has approved the Brazil-Israel income tax treaty.It is Israel's first tax treaty with a South American country. There are some differences between the treaty and the OECD model. For example, the treaty gives exclusive rights to the source state while the OECD model gives taxing rates to the residence state.
