ASX chief points to emerging threat from north.

The Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) faces a threat from rapidly growing countries. Tony D'Aloisio, CEO of ASX, said that 42 per cent of investment in the Australian sharemarket came from foreign institutions. He said that Australia must remain attractive to foreign capital. The two largest developing markets, China and India, were in the region and could affect Australia's position in the MSCI index. This is used by many international fund managers to make decisions on global allocations.
