Telstra CEO Sol Trujillo has appointed consultants Bain & Company to help trim the company's cost structure. Although staff, including senior executives, may lose their jobs in the shake-up, Trujillo claims that employees are not focused on job security but rather, as he is, on Telstra's overall success. Trujillo will consult with the telco's majority owner, the Australian Government, over possible structural changes.
