Roy Morgan Research has released the results of a survey that it conducted on consumer satisfaction with superannuation. The survey is considered a timely one, given the introduction of the choice of superannuation fund laws. So far as types of funds were concerned, self-managed superannuation funds attracted the highest level of consumer approval in terms of their performance, followed by government funds and industry funds. Of the main retail super funds, the National Australia Bank /MLC received the highest level of approval. Those who were least satisfied with the performance of their fund indicated they were most likely to change their fund.
