Intel bankrolls Unwired's capital works program with $37m.

Aug 25, 2005 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian internet service provider, Unwired, has gained funding from computer
chip maker, Intel. Intel has provided $A37 million in funding and its investment arm, Intel Capital, will take convertible notes in Unwired in return. Unwired will use the funds to expand its wireless broadband service. Unwired will upgrade its wireless network so that it is compatible with WiMAX
chips that will be embedded in future Intel mobile computers. Australian telco, Telstra, launched its consumer wireless broadband
network on 25 August 2005.
