Aug 26, 2005 (Weekly Tax Bulletin - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian Taxation Office has issued Law Administration Practice Statement PS LA 2005/13. The new PS replaces PS LA 2001/15. Its purpose is to provide instructions to tax officers on: when and how to prepare a taxpayer alert and submission supporting its publication; the approval and publication of taxpayer alerts; and the alteration and withdrawal of taxpayer alerts.
