Aug 08, 2005 (The Age - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian Forest Industries (AFI) has raised funds on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board
in the US. AFI, established by Integrated Forest Products and Acora Reneco Group in November 2004, aims to use the money secured on the US secondary market for small- capitalisation stocks to help fund its Australian expansion plans. AFI is planning a $A39 million sawmill at Bombala, in New South Wales (NSW), and has signed an agreement with the NSW Government for 300,000 cubic metres of pine annually, to be used at
the new mill.
