Amcor profits from US license.

Aug 03, 2005 (Packaging News - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Amcor has forged a licensing agreement with Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation, a US packaging group. The deal will allow the Australian-listed packaging firm to introduce its milk sack technology in North America. Smurfit-Stone is the biggest producer of corrugated containers, containerboard and multiwall and specialist bags in the US. Maxipack was devised by Amcor's Australian bulk packaging unit. The packaging improves hygiene, pallet stability and cubic space capacity. It includes the Patented Tear Top easy-opening feature.
