More university degrees to pass $100,000 mark.

Aug 02, 2005 (The Sydney Morning Herald - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian universities have increased the number of undergraduate courses with fees of more than $A100,000. According to the "2006

Good Universities Guide", 60 courses will top this level, compared to 45 in 2005. The most expensive course is medicine/law offered by Monash University at $A256,000. At the University of New South Wales, 18 courses will cost more than $A100,000. Prime Minister John Howard said in 1999 that no university course would cost $A100,000 while his government was in power.
