Sep 26, 2005 (Money Management - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Accountancy firm Deloitte has launched an online anti-money laundering (AML) program, "AMLcheck". The software is designed to automate the process of complying with AML legislation, which is currently being prepared by the Australian Government. Tim Phillips, the head of Deliotte's AML unit, said individual name checks performed on AMLcheck would only cost $A3 each. A monthly
subscription fee would be $A10 per month for businesses with fewer than 10 people. The maximum fee, for large institutions, would not exceed $A100.
