Targeted email campaigns generate nine times more revenue.

Oct 27, 2005 (New Zealand Hardware Journal - ABIX via COMTEX) -- A report on targeted email campaigns has been issued by Jupiter Research. It is claimed in the report that applying web analytics to targeted email campaigns can yield 18 times more profit than can broadcast mailings. The research director at Jupiter Research, David Daniels, says that great value can still be

derived from campaigns based on a "lifecycle relationship" approach. Daniels argues that email marketing is hampered by the failure of customer relationship management systems to

integrate customer insights.
