Mobile complaints soar.

Oct 26, 2005 (The Sydney Morning Herald - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman, John Pinnock, released the agency's annual report on 26 October 2005. Pinnock reported that his office received 40,254 complaints related to mobile telephones in fiscal 2004-05, or an 87.5 per

cent increase from the 21,465 complaints received in 2003-04. According to the Australian Mobile Telecommunications

Association CEO, Graham Chalker, complaints about mobile telephones have risen "generally" in line with increased use.
