Oct 19, 2005 (The Australian - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Commonwealth Bank of Australia has restructured its property business, Colonial
First State Property. The move entails the immediate departure of head, Geoff McWilliam.A new property and alternative investments
division will be led by James O'Leary and Damian Rigney, from Gresham Partners. In mid- October 2005, Colonial had to pay over $A300 million to Gandel Group. This gave Colonial
the rights to the $A8 billion retail portfolio managed by Gandel Retail Management under a joint venture between Gandel and Colonial.
