Sydney to host Inter-Pacific Bar.

Oct 24, 2005 (Lawyers Weekly - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Lawyers from a number of Asian countries are expected to attend the 16th Inter-Pacific Bar Association Conference in 2006. The conference will be held in Sydney from 30 April to 3 May 2006. George Livanes, who is with Piper Aldermans and on the conference organising committee, expects Japan to provide the most representatives for what is regarded as the pre-eminent conference for

business lawyers in the Asia-Pacific region. Australia, the Philippines and Singapore are among the other countries expected to be well represented at the conference, which will cover topics such insolvency, aerospace law and cross-border investment.
