New team selected to implement Trujillo's strategy.

Oct 18, 2005 (The Sydney Morning Herald - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Greg Winn, chief operating officer at Australian telco Telstra, has announced the appointment of a number of new executives.
Led by ex-Accenture partner Dan Burns, they will all be part of Winn's network and technology division, as part of a major restructuring initiated by CEO Sol Trujillo. The move is seen by analysts as a prelude to further rationalisation and redundancies of as many as 9,000 staff. Trujillo is
scheduled to release details of his strategy for the company, which many tip will include a shift to an internet protocol-based network.
